Have You Heard - Notions
From SoundCloud rapper to tasty metal tracks, Notions front man Kalan Beal has plotted his path and is staking his claim on what he considers a new way forward with his band mates and also his solo performances.
Notions has been around for a few years now, grinding it out here in central Texas. The guys talk about how Notions came to be and how they are continuing to push their music to the next level. Kalan brakes down what the future holds for the band by working with Third String Productions to work themselves into a rap shows to include continuing with booking metal shows.
Notions was signed to Stay Sick records late 2019, early 2020 and only stayed with them for 1 year. The plan was to tour heavy on their album but COIVD hit and stopped it dead in their tracks. Now on their own, they have a little more creative freedom to try this and that and it shows in their latest release "TxxthTxker" with help from members of UnityTX and Backwordz.
On a personal note, the guys swap stories about being honest and not lying, requesting your song to the local radio station and trying to record it on cassette, as well as recoding DragonBallZ on VHS.
